Image Viewer
A mode that shows a reference image instead of the 3D. Use it to compare against the original product photo while grading, or to check the capture footage. It has no editing tools — view only.
Opening an image
- Choose Image viewer in the top-bar mode switch
- The thumbnail button loads the item's thumbnail directly, and you can open a local image as well
- Drag to pan, wheel to zoom
Combining with split view
Use the split icon in the top bar to divide the screen, then pick a mode for each half from its header. With Normal edit on the left and the image viewer on the right, the 3D and the photo sit side by side for color matching.
As a reference while grading
Color grading happens in the Color tab of Normal edit mode. Photo color matching also loads its photos inside the Color tab itself, so the image viewer is not required for it. The image viewer is for keeping the photo large beside the 3D while you work.
- Show the original product photo in the image viewer in one half of split view
- In the other half, in Normal edit mode, grade manually with the Color tab's pro mode or pick matching spots with photo color matching. Compare the result against the photo next to it as you go
The Color tab and photo color matching are described in the → Normal Edit Mode chapter.
