Can I use it without logging in?
Yes. Import a file at /editor and use every tool. Login is only needed to save.
My work disappeared after a refresh
Unsaved local items exist only in the browser. Saving is what puts them in your account — the browser warns before closing, but save early and often.
Some tabs are grayed out
Those are "available after saving" tabs (Style, Connection, AI…). They unlock once the first save turns your work into an account item.
Buttons won't respond
Items still processing (PROCESSING) keep editing and saving disabled until capture processing finishes. Reopen afterwards.
I don't think my edit was saved
The top save button stores geometry and settings together. A failed save shows an error and keeps your edits — just save again. You can also confirm saves in the version history (version button).
I made a bad edit
Ctrl+Z to undo — or if you already saved, restore a previous version or the original from the version button.
Splats look see-through
Normal edit → rendering tab → enable the opacity accumulation cap. Or select the area in splat edit and apply make double-sided in the ROS material section.
Selection doesn't match what I see
Turn on rings (V) and check the vis toggle in the top bar. Visibility mode (default) only selects what's visible; covariance mode selects every splat.
The browser feels slow
Lower the resolution scale in the rendering tab, or enable LOD. Deleting unneeded regions in splat edit also lightens very large items.
